Kailene Sparrs, president of the Associated Student Government at Clover Park Technical College, was invited to speak to the House Education Appropriations and Oversight Committee Sept. 25 during a work session.
Sparrs, a student in the Environmental Sciences Program, shared her thoughts and personal story on attending college as a non-traditional student. The committee was discussing tuition increase effects on students and various other topics.
