Summer Vacation

Maximize your summer vacation, keep your mind moving, prepped for fall classes.

Summertime means enjoying some time off from school.

During your break, be sure to keep your mind working so fall classes don’t seem so overwhelming. Here are three helpful hints to keep your mind moving:

Number 1 - make studying fun. Stay on your ‘game’ through show and tell. Talk to others (family, friends) about what you have learned or demonstrate your knowledge/creativity through a fun summer activity.

Number 2 - play like a kid, think like an adult. Kids love playing games, parents love it when their children learn. Combine the two – especially with subjects like math and english. Sharing your abilities with pint sized students benefit everyone involved.

Number 3 – attitude is everything. Maintain a positive attitude during your summer break and be open to practicing healthy study habits. Keep up the hard work your efforts are paying off.
